The last couple of weeks have been productive in the basket shop. Marcia has created several new antler baskets. These antlers are whitetail sheds; most of them have been found right here in northwest Missouri. The basket weaving materials include vines, reed, seagrass, an exotic called palembang, and even some dyed baling twine.
